Justice & Witness Ministry
Hope Church is forming a team and deciding on our priorities, since there is no shortage of injustice issues that cry out to be confronted. It is clear that Hope has a heart for fighting for justice, and that can inspire us to be energized rather than exhausted when faced with hate and domestic terrorism.
The Book Club participants select interesting and inspiring books to read and discuss. All are welcome to join the group on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm in the multipurpose room at the church. The meeting are held from September to May of each year.

The next opportunity to walk the prayer walk will occur during the lent season. Watch for details on the website.
An opportunity to walk a prayer Labyrinth was offered in early spring at Hope Church. The theme of the special service was the Lord’s Prayer. Members of the congregation participated in a time of reflection, where the familiar Lord’s Prayer was first offered in song then read in the ancient Aramaic as it was in the time of Christ. Several interactive Stations of the Cross were offered during the service giving ample time to reflect on the blessings of God. This type of reflective prayer service may again be offered when the weather allows.
